(Web Desk) – Powerhouse couple of Hindi cinema, Shahrukh Khan and his interior designer wife Gauri Khan’s recent unusual shying away from the paparazzi has left us confused.
The much talked about Karan Johar’s birthday bash that remains talk of the town several days after the big night every year, was attended by almost all the B-Town faces that we know of barring Ranvir Singh and a few exceptions.
Oddly enough, Khan was clicked lying down on the back seat in his white BMW while covering self with a black sheet as the car pulled in to the venue drop-off. On the other hand, Gauri dodged cameras with a scarf, famously made by a 28-year-old Delhite to annoy, if not completely avoid, the paparazzi.

The scarf, donned by Paris Hilton, Amitabh Bachan among other celebrities in the past, reflects cameras’ lights so much so that the person in focus appears almost invisibly dark.
The couple’s unusual shying away from the paps has left us wondering what could be the reason given that they have always been darlings of shutterbugs, be it book launches, premiers, Eid and other festivities.
Pinkvilla reported that the couple refused to get clicked inside, while at the party, as well. Media journos also took a note of the fact that Khan and wife did not share a ride to the party but arrived separately. Could it be different working schedules?
With much resistance put up outside, Shahrukh Khan clicked with son Aryan and rumoured SOTY 2 lead, Sara Ali Khan at the bash
Separately, it is worth mentioning here that the now 45-year-old KJo indulged himself in a conversation with Alia Bhatt in his Dharma office the same day prior to the party and the pair went live with the sitting on Facebook.
During the casual interview, Karan was as usual at his candid and in-your-face best and went on to say that birthdays always get him excited. He gave a special shout out to Ranvir Singh and said that he should not miss the party.
However, to KJo’s displeasure, the ‘energy canister’ did not explode at Dharma CEO’s much-abuzz birthday bash.
