Emirates to Offer Passengers Seaweed-Infused Pajamas

A new travel platform called Upside has been created with the intention of rewarding business travelers when they book affordable airline flights.

The site works by allowing the traveler to book their needs, and then they’re offered alternatives with small changes made to the itinerary that would end up being cheaper options. Since those options are also less convenient and include things like staying at a hotel that slightly farther away from their destination, they will be awarded gift cards for the trouble.

The creator of Upside is Jay Walker, who also founded Priceline. The concept is aimed at smaller companies who have limited travel expenses.

“When it comes to travel, small businesses get no discounts, no tools, no help, no nothing. This is long overdue and the money raised is an indicator of how much it was needed.”
